Romans 12:3-8: For by the grace given to me I tell everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than one ought to think, but to think soberly, each according to the measure of faith that God has apportioned. For as in one body we have many parts, and all the parts do not have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ and individually parts of one another. Since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us exercise them: if prophecy, in proportion to the faith; if ministry, in ministering; if one is a teacher, in teaching; if one exhorts, in exhortation; if one contributes, in generosity; if one is over others, with diligence; if one does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness.
We believe that parish ministries are a call to serve and a gift from God. To serve, it is a sacrificial giving of time, talent, and treasure.
There are many opportunities to get involved at St. Bridget. We all have different talents and we encourage you to serve in ministry.
St. Bridget offers several forms of ministry. The ministries range from liturgical ministry (serving at Mass, for example, as a lector, commentator, altar sever, etc.), to religious education (teaching our children about our faith or being a teacher’s helper), to the ministry of serving the poor or sick, and so on. Please feel free to browse the ministry section of this website on how you can become involved.
If you have questions about an individual ministry or would like to serve in one of these ministries, please contact us.
Thank you for your interest in getting involved at St. Bridget Catholic Church.
