Ministries of Counters - provide the service of counting the weekly collections as well as other monetary donations and making bank deposits. The commitment is approximately once per month. Training is available. This ministry provides a system of checks and balances used to ensure that all parish funds are handled properly.
Church and Chapel Cleaners - maintain and clean the interior of the church and Adoration Chapel. There is no age requirement for this ministry. "Cleaners" are asked to volunteer to clean each week for one month. Teams of two or more people are strongly recommended.
Prayer Line - is a telephone chain of people willing to pray for others. Anyone can be a part of this ministry team. Contact the parish office for more information or to be added to the team.
Persons wishing to request prayers should also contact the church office to be added to the prayer list.
Office Volunteers - volunteers assist in the church office and CCD office as needed. Volunteers can give a little time or a lot of time. CCD volunteers are needed during the day to help prepare classrooms for CCD. Office volunteers are needed to answer the phone, make copies, work with the bulletin, etc.
Matthew 25 - provides help to those in need at the time of a natural disaster. Volunteers are needed for this ministry. The ministers will be trained prior to Hurricane Season.
Homebound Ministry - praying with those who can no longer attend Mass is a vital part of any parish. The Homebound Ministry team serves as Lay Ministers of the Holy Eucharist and prays with parishioners who can no longer attend Mass. To be part of the Homebound Ministry Team or to request visits from the team, contact the church office.
Environment/Decorating Committee - decorates the church for various celebrations and for all Liturgical seasons.
Food Bank - Service to those less fortunate is a virtue. A box is located at the main entrance of the church for non-perishable food items, personal hygiene items, and cleaning supplies. Items placed in the box are donated to the local food bank.
